For Kelley...

So it has been a while since I have posted...what can I say Jay is gone and with no dog or child there is not much to update everyone on. I am heading to the beach this weekend with a couple friends and then heading to the states for a little over a week.

Jay's Birthday

Jay's 27th(yes I married a younger man!)Birthday was the 14th. It was the night before most of their Squadron left for their TDY, so it was a quiet evening at the house; but we had a friend of ours over and Jay grilled Steaks & pineapple! It was delicious. I got him the Sleeping bag that he has wanted from REI for his Birthday. He had to try it out!

Later that night Alice (a 1 yr old Yellow Lab that belongs to a friend of ours that we are watching for a little while) was being very sweet with Jay. Hopefully having Alice here will help us get a dog faster!

English Weather

You gotta love English weather... It has been raining off and on all day long. Just to give you a visual the 1st picture is looking out one of the windows in our office , the 2nd is looking out the other window on the adjacent wall, and the 3rd is the Rainbow connecting the two skies!

4th of July Weekend

After working in the morning at the 4th of July Celebration that the base puts on Jay and I drove to the airport and caught a flight to Italy. Jay's good friend from the Academy (and one of his groomsmen) and his wife are based there. They live about an hour north of Venice so we took the train in on Saturday. It was a quick trip but we had a lot of fun! Thanks again Tyler and Nikki for hosting us and we hope to return the favor soon!

Happy Birthday to Me!

My birthday was on Tuesday and it happened to be one of the most beautiful days we have had here lately! Unfortunately I had to work but we were able to celebrate with some good friends Tuesday night at a great place not far from our house called Ravenwood Hall! We sat outside in the garden and had a wonderful dinner!
